Description

Our specialty dips were born from the long line of Mediterranean tradition that first inspired CAVA. Prepared fresh daily in our production kitchen, these inspired spreads are delivered directly to local markets, ensuring only the highest-quality products are always on the shelves.

Route Sales Representatives (RSRs) are responsible for effectively servicing all routed customers. RSRs manage shelf inventory – assess current inventory, organize product based on expiration dates, and create invoices on the spot, using handheld computers. Each route and delivery day is unique and entails an average of 8 to 15 stops. Desired candidates have highly developed communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, and will begin each day at our distribution center in Edison, NJ.

You will:

• Be accountable for customer service and sales results, while achieving an accident/injury-free safety record.
• Sell CAVA products to customers and build relationships with existing and new buyers
• Begin shifts around 4 or 5 AM at our distribution center in Edison, NJ
• Be able to drive a truck for up to 10 hours per day, 4 days per week
• Understand how to use basic ordering technologies
• Be able to speak spanish (a plus, not required)

You will need:

• A willingness and ability to operate a commercial vehicle in a manner that ensures personal and public safety
• The ability to enter and exit a commercial vehicle safely on average 30-40 times per day
• To provide an up to date driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles
• A valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• The ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely
• A commitment to a daily work schedule, to be timely, and to adhere to the attendance policy
• The ability and desire to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• The ability to demonstrate a strong customer service commitment
• The ability to effectively interact with others, be a team player and solve conflicts effectively
• Strong verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail
• An appreciation of good, healthy food is a plus
