CAVA is a rapidly expanding fast casual restaurant and CPG brand focusing on fresh, Mediterranean inspired, better-for-you cuisine. Born from our full service restaurants, our chef-driven fast casual format will soon be in four states with further expansion ahead.  

We are looking for a reliable, motivated Merchandiser to help manage our packaged dips & spreads at retail. You’ll be responsible for stocking shelves, managing inventory and placing product orders. In addition, you’ll ensure best in class customer service with our retail partners, representing the CAVA brand through positive interactions. You’ll also send detailed reports for each visit, handle any maintenance problems and ensure any in-store promotions are leveraged and executed fully. Lastly, but certainly not least, you’ll be in charge of making our shelves look perfect on every visit!

You will:
• Stocking and merchandising supplied product throughout assigned grocery stores
• Acting as back-up to Field Sales Associates and running routes when needed
• Assisting with product placement and positioning on grocery shelves
• Attending and participating in sales meetings
• Maintaining good attendance
• Maintaining safe work practices
• Maintaining safeguards around confidential company information
• Candidate will be required to use their own reliable personal vehicle to visit stores within the metro area and will be reimbursed for mileage.

You are:
• You are an independent, self-starter who doesn’t need a ton of direction to get the work done. You are thorough in your work ensuring plans are followed to a tee. You pride yourself on maintaining a positive and not stopping until a job is done right. You’ve ideally had experience in grocery, stocking, inventory, merchandising, etc.
• You’re able to re-prioritize multiple tasks.
• You’re able to follow information in a schematic format.
• You have strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
• You’re able to work independently without direct on-site supervision.
• Excellent grammar, verbal and writing skills.
• You’ve got lots of energy.
• You feel comfortable performing multi-faceted tasks in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
• You can carry 20 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• This position requires fairly heavy lifting. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to sit and drive. The employee is frequently required to stand, climb and walk. Must be able to travel.
