Description

Our specialty dips were born from the long line of Mediterranean tradition that first inspired CAVA. Prepared fresh daily in our production kitchen, these inspired spreads are delivered directly to local markets, ensuring only the highest-quality products are always on the shelves. We’re serving customers in 60+ fast-casual restaurant locations (and counting!) and you can find CAVA dips + spreads at specialty markets nearby. But we have a thrilling opportunity ahead of us: fueling full lives across the country as we grow.

Driver / Warehouse associates are responsible for delivering effectively and time manner our products to a tolling facility up to 4 times a week early morning. Drivers will manage shelf inventory – assess current inventory, organize product based on expiration dates (FIFO), create paperwork for inventory, shipping, receiving and warehousing needs, maintain an excellent and keep a clean environment in all our storage sites including company truck. Driver will transport our product with all requires safety guidelines and following all traffic laws and signalizations. Desired candidates have highly developed communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional driving, shipping and inventory daily tasks at our Production - Distribution center in Culver City, CA.

You will:

· Be accountable for shipping and receiving results, while achieving an accident/injury-free safety record.
· Manage all paperwork and logs involving shipping/receiving and warehouse inventory.
· Begin shifts around 5 or 6 AM at our distribution center in Culver City, CA
· Be able to drive a truck for up to 4 hours per day, 4 days per week.
· Interact with Logistics and Production supervisors on daily basis.
· Understand how to use basic inventory and creating labels technology.
· Be able to speak Spanish (a plus, not required)

You will need:

· A willingness and ability to operate a commercial reefer temperature vehicle in a manner that ensures personal and public safety
· The ability to enter and exit a commercial vehicle safely on average 30-40 times per day
· An up to date driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles, with no violations from the past three years.
· A valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
· The ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely, ability to pull or drag with no issues.
· A commitment to a daily work schedule, to be timely, and to adhere to the attendance policy.
· The ability and desire to work outdoors in various weather conditions and work on cold environment (37F – 40F)
· The ability to demonstrate an excellent cleanliness skill in our facility and belongs.
· The ability to effectively interact with others, be a team player and solve conflicts effectively
· Strong verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail specially when dealing with our vendors and suppliers.
· An appreciation of good, healthy food is a plus.
- GMP’s knowledge a plus but not required.
-Forklift and pallet jack experienced required.
-Assist the production team rotating raw and dry ingredients on weekly basis before preparation days.
