Server/Bartender


Description
Servers/Bartenders must possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain excellent service standards. They must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service. They must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Club and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary.

It is the Servers/Bartenders responsibility to provide a warm, friendly environment creating a world class dining experience for our members and guests. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members at a high-level. Create “Raving Fans” through effective communication and following Standard Operating Procedures.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

● Minimum of 3 years experience in a high-profile service operation as a Server and/or Bartender.
● Be at least 21 years of age.
● Must be able to work in a fast paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment.
● Occasionally work up to 40+ hours per week, depending on the needs of the property.
● Must be able to spend a minimum of 90% of working time standing.
● The ability to walk, bend, kneel, handle, reach, squat, crawl, climb, stoop, and other related physical activities.
● Comfortable working in walk-in coolers and freezers.
● The ability to lift up to 70 pounds as needed.
● Able to read and follow written/oral instructions.
● Have excellent knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
● Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register or POS system.
● The ability to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays, as needed.
● Safety and sanitation fundamentals. Practice safe and effective methods of work, use of equipment, cleaners and tools.
● Basic understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
● Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
● ServSafe Certification required.
