Description

We’re seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to join our marketing division at the LEYE Corporate Office. This person will work closely with our Marketing leadership to uncover key customer preferences, develop campaigns and implement data-driven marketing strategies. We’re looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience in an analyst role; a background in analytics and experience using statistical modeling tools (SPSS, SAS, R, etc.) are required.

The Marketing Data Analyst mines and analyzes sales, customer and marketing data using equipment and software­—including Tableau, Alteryx, Google Analytics, SQL and other tools—to help develop marketing campaigns as well as help identify marketing insights and objectives. This person also collaborates with marketing and data teams to support marketing objectives.

Essential Functions

·       Mine transactional, customer relationship management (CRM) and other data (including but not limited to sales, loyalty, gift cards, social and marketing campaign data) and help develop marketing campaigns, identify marketing objectives, present analysis and insights to senior marketing team members and key stakeholders, advise on measurement strategies and recommend action steps to drive LEYE marketing and (as needed) restaurant-specific marketing

·       Analyze marketing campaign results using methodical performance analysis to support and influence campaign strategies, quantify their effectiveness, determine return on investment and define opportunities for improvement

·       Develop and update analytical dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify and analyze business trends, and help the executive team make critical decisions and understand the day-to-day health of the business

·       Benchmark performance across all marketing channels and advise on KPIs for both stores and LEYE

·       Work closely with the Marketing team to identify and explore opportunities to support acquisition, cross-sell and retention

·       Use innovative as well as proven methodologies and tools (including but not limited to A/B testing plans, campaign tagging and additional tracking) to optimize advertising and promotions

·       Design and launch consumer research (including analysis of online user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution) to inform development of marketing and loyalty programs

·       Monitor active campaigns and collaborate with the design and development teams to modify the creative as needed to support campaign objectives

·       Create and develop ad hoc, custom marketing analyses for restaurants and LEYE

·       Maintain proficiency and safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools, equipment and software including but not limited to MS Word/Excel, Powerpoint, Tableau, Alteryx or other business intelligence tools, SQL, and Google Analytics

·       Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction

·       Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment

·       Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels

·       Ability to occasionally retrieve and distribute files or office supplies weighing up to 10 pounds

·       Work on and lead cross-functional projects

·       Assist in educating the marketing and restaurant teams on measurement and analysis of consumer data to optimize business performance

·       Maintain availability to work outside standard business hours on occasion as needed, including evenings and weekends

·       Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook

·       Get along well with others and act as a team player

·       Other duties assigned as needed
