The Email Marketing Specialist will plan, design and execute Lettuce Entertain You (LEYE) email marketing program including but not limited to managing email content creation and collaborating with marketing leadership at the corporate and restaurant level.

Essential Functions

  • Plan, design and execute Lettuce Entertain You (LEYE) email marketing program, including but not limited to developing strategic campaigns, creating content that drives conversions, managing email calendar and cadence, building and scheduling emails, creating targeted audience segments, ensuring optimization for all platforms, following up on responses, using A/B testing and analyzing campaign performance
  • Collaborate with corporate and restaurant marketing leadership to create email marketing campaigns that promote LEYE brand, loyalty and gift card programs and other initiatives
  • Create, write, direct, review and approve email content; collaborate with designers on creative briefs to create templates and messaging; and ensure all creative deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with data analysts to develop and implement personalization strategies to segment and target relevant guests for email campaigns, code the segmentation and communicate requirements to primary database vendor
  • Work closely with restaurant, divisional and brand marketing managers on restaurant- , division- and brand-specific initiatives including but not limited to scheduling and executing emails campaigns, optimizing templates, advising on data analytics and educating on email marketing best practices
  • Manage and ensure compliance with all state and country email laws and regulations as required, including but not limited to list removals, security updates and creating unsubscribe pages or models
  • Track and analyze both direct and interactive email marketing campaigns (including but not limited to statistical analysis and developing A/B testing) to develop best practices and share insights with marketing leadership
  • Coordinate and monitor the growth, maintenance, integrity, and security of multiple databases and optimize list health of contact database
  • Collaborate with PR team on content, photo and video shoots, and maintaining online photo library
  • Process invoices and pay bills from email vendors
  • Create and maintain ad hoc email lists from other data sources for lead generation
  • Maintain availability to work a variety of days and events including evenings and weekends as required
  • Maintain proficiency and safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools, equipment, software and platforms including but not limited to MS Word and Excel, OpenTable, Personica and Paytronix
  • Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
  • Multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels
  • Occasionally retrieve and distribute files or office supplies weighing up to 10 pounds
