Fun and professional restaurant team is on the hunt for some talented hospitality legends
who have what it takes to offer our guests the best experience in the world.

We are NZR - set up in 2013 by renowned restauranteur Kurt Zdesar. We run, own and franchise hospitality
venues around the world. We’re passionate about People, we are uncompromising on Quality and above all
we Love what we do.

We currently have Chotto Matte restaurants around the globe; London, Miami, Toronto. 2021 will see 2 new
sites in Doha and Riyadh. Chotto Matte brings together the best of Japanese and Peruvian cultures serving up
high-quality Nikkei cuisine, colourful cocktails, and the best sushi.

When we’re looking for people to take on a role, we’re looking for somebody who can make it their own,
challenge us as a business but also can deliver high standards and ultimately make our venues the best they
can be.

Our ideal Host/Hostess:
• 1 years’ Reception/Host experience in hospitality.
• Excellent command of English language (Written and spoken).
• Ability to communicate with customers and peers with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Self-motivated, continuously seeking to succeed and progress in career within the company.
• Computer literate.
• Extremely flexible and committed.
• Lively, enthusiastic, and confident.
• Ability to handle difficult situations successfully.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ensures the highest professionalism and service.
• Ability to use company booking systems, collect information and understand restaurant booking principles.
• Contact guests via telephone, email and booking platform in a courteous manner.
• Ensures great communication between departments in the venue, working together with the reception team.
• Adheres to company standards of service quality, preparation, and presentation.
• Ensures guests are served in a timely manner.
• Ensures readiness and makes priorities in case of last-minute changes to reservations.
• Adheres to all health, sanitation and food safety rules and regulations.
• Ensures that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately.
• Ensures that employees work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others.
• Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and either corrects them or takes action to prevent them from happening.
• Keeps the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, appropriate uniform, appearance, and conduct.
• Sets up for service by ensuring everything is set up for forecasted covers, special functions, and all reservations.
• To carry out any other duties as directed by seniors.
• To study and memorize NZR Group guidelines, Employee handbook and Food guides.
• To ensure that your service in the restaurant is the standard that the NZR Group has set.
