We currently have Chotto-Matte restaurants around the globe; London, Miami, Toronto. 2021 will see 2 new sites in Doha and Riyadh.

GENERAL PURPOSE:

We are looking for someone that possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a high level of satisfaction among all guests and employees. From picking up debris on the restaurant floor to wiping down tables after guests leave, a busser, is the driving force behind the cleanliness in a restaurant. Commis are of fundamental assistance during service, helping waiters and customers. Commis Waiters/Waitresses report to the floor Manager and/or Head Waiter on duty of the respective floor he or she has been assigned to. 


GENERAL DUTIES:

·       Maintains own working area, materials and company property clean, tidy and in good shape; reports defective materials and equipment to the Management.

·       Attend any meeting or training session as required by General Manager and Management.

·       Maintains a safe and hygienic work environment.

·       Is conversant and complies with:

1.     The company fire and health and safety procedures

2.     The company security procedures

3.     The property facilities

4.     Licensing regulations

5.      Operation standards and departmental procedures


ACCOUNTABILITY

●        Actively participate in assisting to achieve departmental goals and objectives and carry out assigned work by Managers and Supervisors.

●        Actively engage in your own personal development to benefit the business and improve your personal skills – probationary period reviews, annual appraisals, attending training and development courses.

●        Actively participate in weekly / monthly departmental meetings and any other meetings that you are required to attend.

●        Actively participate in addressing complaints and resolving problems.


KNOWLEDGE, PERSONAL SKILLS & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

●        1-2 years’ restaurant experience.

●      Good command of English language (Written and spoken).

●        Ability to communicate with customers and peers with a friendly and positive attitude.

●        Self-motivated, continuously seeking to succeed and progress in career within the company.

●        Flexible and committed.

●        Lively, enthusiastic and confident.


WORK ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

·       UK resident.

·       Pre-Settlement or Settlement status, required to provide Share Code.

·       National Insurance Number.
