Citadines Apart’hotels is opening a new property in the London borough of Islington! We offer a home away from home with contemporary and sleek studios and apartments with modern comforts, business connectivity and additional services customised to our guests’ lifestyle and needs. Citadines offers properties in prime locations in major destinations worldwide, this is your opportunity to join our new opening team as Maintenance Manager at Citadines Islington London.

We are seeking a self-assured, experienced and highly efficient Maintenance Manager to join our Citadines Islington London team. As Maintenance Manager you will be reporting to the Residence Manager and work closely with the Regional Maintenance Manager.

Being the Maintenance Manager, you will need to be proactive, skilled and have the ability learn the new property’s maintenance requirements and additionally manage building systems, relationships with main estate managers and contractors.

As a Maintenance Manager you will be required to:

• Oversee the maintenance function of new opening property, working towards ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality
• Manage the team to respond to maintenance requests and direct them to rectify any maintenance issues within agreed deadlines and audit requirements
• Carry out preventative maintenance, per the required schedule
• Create and maintain a positive working relationship with key stakeholders such as senior management, suppliers and contractors
• Ensure any contractors carrying out work in the property are certified and are following safe working practices
• Be the property representative for health & safety encompassing all areas including attending cluster health & safety meetings regularly and reporting

Ideally you must have:

• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience, ideally in a supervisory capacity
• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
• Proficient level of IT systems including Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermediate understanding of general health, safety & fire safety, including COSHH, and Legionella awareness and prevention
