Description
Our Beverage Directors must be highly passionate beverage industry professionals with local beverage program leadership experience and advanced beverage educational training. Must be able to provide informative yet hospitable direction to our guests and lead them through a memorable beverage experience. Must be willing to work with current CW resources to further develop our list and create complementary public beverage programming. Ability to train and develop a well-informed staff that effectively describes and communicates our products (wine, beer, and spirits) to them and our guests, the diversity and excitement of our list of top-notch house made wines and global selections. Here are some additional position details:

- Familiarity with inventory control systems / BinWise
- Diligent in investigating inventory variances and pour controls
- POS programming / Aloha
- Proper receiving controls
- Develop beverage public program
- Promotion of house-made wines

Started in Soho in 2008 by Michael Dorf, City Winery is a 7 unit and growing, national, multifaceted Hospitality Group. An innovative combination of state of the art working urban winery, 300 capacity intimate, seated world class music venue with full food and drinks service, large restaurant, and multiple private event spaces accommodating 20-900+. From a great meal and wine pairing during a concert, to special dinner out, to wine 101 classes to wine and cheeses pairings, our programming is unique and second to none.

City Winery strives to deliver the highest-end combined culinary and cultural experience to our customers who are passionate in sharing wine, music, and culinary arts. We are a unique facility, combining a fully functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine classes, private events in a variety of configurations, and fine dining. We have created a compelling mix for our sophisticated clientele of foodies, and active cultural patrons—bringing the wine country experience to the middle of a large city.
