Founded in London in 1995 and changing the way New Yorkers experience cars since 2005, Classic Car Club has evolved into one of the most innovative and exciting private members club. The newly opened Clubhouse features a Hudson River terrace, restaurant, bar, lounge and the only racing simulator room in North America. Exciting events are thrown in the showroom from Scotch tastings, comedy night and boxing all amongst the supreme fleet from vintage roadsters to brand new supercars.

This position will be responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing quality service to all guests who come to Classic Car Club. Supporting the management team as needed.
• Maintain all steps in the Customer Service program with each guest and employee you may come in contact.
• Performs opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the setup and break down of stations, clearing and re-setting up of the bar.
• Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Wash glassware after each use.
• Pour wine and beer.
• Classic Drink knowledge.
• Collect payment and operate a cash register.
• Serve food to customers seated at the bar, menu knowledge.
• Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol products.
• Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol.
• Clean up after customers and clean work area.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
• Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies.
• Mix ingredients according to drink recipes.
• Resolve guest complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Responds to guests’ requests in an accurate and timely manner, creating a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
• Is Friendly, engaging, gracious, can focus and connect with all guests at all levels and employees and exceed their expectations.
• Has an upbeat, energetic, authentic and professional attitude at all times.
• Participate in teamwork and assist other departments when needed.
• Directs the work of barbacks.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
• Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
• Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds.
• Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
