Founded in London in 1995 and changing the way New Yorkers experience cars since 2005, Classic Car Club has evolved into one of the most innovative and exciting private members club. The newly opened Clubhouse features a Hudson River terrace, restaurant, bar, lounge and the only racing simulator room in North America. Exciting events are thrown in the showroom from Scotch tastings, comedy night and boxing all amongst the supreme fleet from vintage roadsters to brand new supercars.


We're seeking a Front of House Supervisor to join our team!

POSITION SUMMARY:
A Supervisor at Classic Car Club is responsible for leading, educating, motivating and energizing the team to provide a
world class vibe dining experience. This position supports the General Manager and maintains a strong presence on the
floor, appropriate staffing levels and completes scheduling and employee development. A Supervisor is also expected to
assist the FOH team with open and closing the restaurant, setting up the restaurant, cleaning the restaurant, running food, bussing
tables, taking food orders, making cocktails, serving guests, assisting host staff and opening and serving wine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-Day Management
- Manage, lead and mentor staff: provide daily training & development to FOH staff
- Ensure service is maintained at the utmost of quality levels
- Be present on the floor during service, touching tables and making guest connections and build business
- Be able to assist with local business outreach, concierge visits
- Develop risk management and mitigation strategies
- Represent The ONE Group in investigating, answering, and settling grievances in the absence of General Manager
- Maintain all corporate mandates
- Update and track daily reports
- Venue comps, sales comps, void comps
- Assist other FOH staff to perform setting up the restaurant, cleaning restaurant, bussing tables, running food, taking
food orders, making cocktails, serving guests, assisting host staff and opening and serving wine when needed
- Perform all duties while following all health department sanitation requirements
- Demonstrate a positive example. No consumption of alcoholic beverages while working
Staffing and Team Development
- Analyze staffing requirements, develop iteration plans, and assess opportunities for future growth
- Interview, screen, and recruit job applicants
- Coach, mentor and train staff
- Responsible for Team performance – morale, productivity, energy
- Manage regular review of performance for staff

Fiscal Responsibility
- Monitor activities and expenses
- Keep General Manager informed of sales and critical issues

QUALIFICATIONS/PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Strong influence, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and creative solution generation skills
- General business acumen
- Expert knowledge of all restaurant computer systems
- Quickly integrates into a team and be recognized as a leader
- The ability to find problem areas develops solutions and get the job done
- The ability to delegate effectively with a sense of professionalism
- Willingness to work 8 + hours
