Founded in London in 1995 and changing the way New Yorkers experience cars since 2005, Classic Car Club has evolved into one of the most innovative and exciting private members club. The newly opened Clubhouse features a Hudson River terrace, restaurant, bar, lounge and the only racing simulator room in North America. Exciting events are thrown in the showroom from Scotch tastings, comedy night and boxing all amongst the supreme fleet from vintage roadsters to brand new supercars.
Responsible to:
Administration/Front Desk
This position will be responsible for assisting maintaining the appearance and atmosphere of the main lobby, the reception desk, and basic computer duties, hosting for the Restaurant, as well as performing Guest List responsibilities. Supporting the management team as needed.
Main Duties:
• Greet and welcome all guests and members warmly at all times.
• Receive calls for restaurant reservations, general inquiries, and deliveries.
• Responsible for answering the main line and transferring calls in the right direction as needed.
• Be well versed on all aspects of the Club, including but not limited to: all menus, hours of operation for all parts of the club, daily events, and future events.
• Keeping the reception area and desk clean at all times.
• Perform Restaurant Host/Hostess.
• Checking in members via member template spreadsheet or guest lists as provided by parties.
Informing workers in bookings of car returns and pickups.
Processing incidentals and scanning invoices.
Ensuring any shipments for pickup are prepared, and a pickup has been scheduled.
• Assist with any guest related issues.
• Assist guests with the coat check.
• Converse with members and report any potential problems to the appropriate manager(s).
• Maintain a fun and energetic attitude at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail oriented.
• Computer savvy with Mac’s.
• Basic Office experience, including answering telephone calls, faxing, copying, assisting members.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
