Seeking guest services driven barista capable of managing high volume for historic venue downtown.

Key Skills:
-Multiple years experience in a high-volume hospitality venue preferred; Calm under pressure
-Punctual, professional, positive attitude and well spoken; Outgoing and friendly personalities are best suited for this dynamic role
-Team player willing to work collaboratively with others
-Highly detail oriented
-Confident communicator, must have strong ability to empathize and manage guest expectations
-Punctual, professional and well spoken; Outgoing and friendly personalities are best suited for this dynamic role
-Confident communicator, must have the ability to upsell and “talk up” the venue
-Ability to memorize products and descriptions including Retail Items
-Ability to connect with and build regular customer base and resolve basic guest relations issues effectively
-Ability to proactively care for the barista areas including cleaning and stocking
-Knowledge of all espresso and coffee drinks including iced and hot
-Ability to craft accurately poured and portioned espresso and coffee drinks using a manual bean grinder and espresso machine safely
-Ability to plan brew cycles and keep stock fresh and available throughout the day
-Craft coffee knowledge and / or latte artistry a plus
-POS Experience Required; Cashier Experience Required
-Candidates must be available weekends & holidays
-Please note: A valid California Food Handler Card (or manager’s food safety certification) must be presented to the General Manager within 30 days of hire.
