Senior Barista
Description
The Senior Barista must be someone enthusiastic and knowledgeable about coffee, someone interested in the industry as a whole, and driven to be a thought leader for our young company in this area.
Primarily responsibilities:
- Ability to brew different types of coffee and understand how to work different coffee machines
- Experience 3-year minimum in a coffee industry
- Capable of Operating, Maintaining, and Cleaning a Manual Espresso Machine
- Delegating Tasks to Barista Trainees and Baristas Effectively
- Knowledgeable of Various Brewing and Pouring Methods including latte art
- Stay up to date with coffee knowledge. We are here to educate our customers on the art of coffee
- Actively participate in coffee tastings to further your product knowledge and help us pinpoint any issues
- Assist in the training + development of new staff
- Attend coffee conferences and seminars to maintain knowledge of current trends in the industry (some travel)
- Demonstrate an ongoing pursuit of education, training, and industry trends
