Full Time Rapid Response (Urmston and Flixton)

Description
FULL TIME RAPID RESPONSE TEAMS URGENTLY NEEDED.

40 HOURS PER WEEK AT £11.00 PER HOUR URMSTON, FLIXTON, DAVYHULME, ALTRINCHAM, TIMPERLEY AND SALE

Whilst the ongoing pandemic is raging around the globe, and businesses are unable to sustain their loyal workforce, we are looking for passionate people from all walks of life to form our new Community Care Rapid Response teams. You will be supporting clients being discharged from hospital to home around the Urmston, Davyhulme, Altrincham, Timperley and Sale areas.

We are looking for a brand new dedicated team who are not afraid of a challenge and who have a natural sense of empathy for others. You will have an easy-going personality and support along with bucket loads of common sense.

You need to be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment, are a committed self-starter and have organisation skills and ability to think outside the box. This role will be responsible for supporting adults coming home from the hospital and enabling them to regain their independence as quickly as possible.

You will enable the people we support to lead their best lives and get out of hospital within hours of being told they are fit to be discharged. We aim to start caring for people within 1 hour of them coming home.

You need to work to the standards set internally (by Compassionate Care) and externally (by the Care Quality Commission), doing all you can to make sure that the people we support receive the highest standard of support that we have built our reputation on.

Don't worry if you've never done this role before - we will train people that we think have what it takes to become an amazing support worker.

• Offering people opportunities to be involved as often as possible, in the way that best suits them, eg. as little or as much as they like.
• Offering ‘just enough’ support to ensure people regain their independence where possible.
• Ensuring that the people you support make as many choices as possible, so they remain in control of their own lives in their own homes.
• This role is a 40 hour per week block contract working 5 full days, followed by 5 days off. It is anticipated that this will be a rolling weekly contract initially due to the uncertainty around COVID 19, however we anticipate that services will be ongoing throughout the crisis and beyond. You must be available between 7 am- 11 pm during your working days.

We cannot offer flexible working patterns on our Rapid Response teams.

• This role does involve personal care and medication and so it's vitally important that you are reliable and trustworthy and passionate.

Salary: £11 per hour – 40 hours guaranteed

We would always prefer drivers however we can accommodate people who use alternative methods of transport i.e. bicycle, walking, helicopter etc...….
