Full Time Rapid Response (Urmston, Flixton, Altrincham, Sale, Timperley)

Description
FULL TIME RAPID RESPONSE TEAMS URGENTLY NEEDED.

5 DAYS ON 5 DAYS ROTA AT £11.00 PER HOUR URMSTON, FLIXTON, ALTRINCHAM, TIMPERLEY AND SALE

Whilst the ongoing pandemic is raging around the globe, and businesses are unable to sustain their loyal workforce, we are looking for passionate people from all walks of life to form our new Community Care Rapid Response teams. You will be supporting clients discharged from hospital in their own homes around the Urmston, Altrincham, Flixton, Timperley and Sale areas.

We are looking for a brand new dedicated team who are not afraid of a challenge and who have a natural sense of empathy for others. You will have an easy-going personality along with bucket loads of common sense.

You need to be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment, are a committed self-starter and have organisation skills with the ability to think outside the box. This role will be responsible for supporting adults coming home from the hospital. You will be giving them the ward experience within their own homes. Some of our clients have been hospital dependent for some time, but have been discharged to keep them as safe as possible within their own homes.

This is a demanding and high pressured caring role, where you will be helping our clients with health related tasks, including bowel and bladder control. You will need to have the ability to work and act quickly and professionally whilst maintaining our clients’ dignity and putting their wellbeing first.

You need to work to the standards set internally (by Compassionate Care) and externally (by the Care Quality Commission), doing all you can to make sure that the people we support receive the highest standard and level of care that we have built our reputation on. Don't worry if you've never done this role before - we will train people that we think have what it takes to become an amazing support worker.

• Ensuring that the people you support make as many choices as possible, so they remain in control of their own lives in their own homes
This role does involve personal care and medication and so it's vitally important that you are reliable and trustworthy and passionate and can follow instruction.
• This role is a 40 hour per week block contract working 5 full days, followed by 5 days off. It is anticipated that this will be a rolling weekly contract initially due to the uncertainty around COVID 19, however we anticipate that services will be ongoing throughout the crisis and beyond. You must be available between 7 am- 11 pm during your working days.

We cannot offer flexible working patterns on our Rapid Response teams.
