Description
CoolMess is looking for motivated individuals that want to work in a fun, child friendly environment!
CoolMess is New York’s only ice cream parlor where you can make your own ice cream! CoolMess is also a full service restaurant that focuses on burgers and American fare. CoolMess serves the highest quality food and desserts in a fun and happy environment. Our ice cream consultants are responsible for guiding customers through the ice cream making process, making sundaes and milkshakes, and serving food, as well.
We are seeking someone to work behind the counter by performing the following duties:
*Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
*Prepares sundaes, milkshakes, and scooped ice cream for both the counter and the servers on the floor.
*Greets customers at the door and assists with seating them at tables.
*Answers phones - may include booking parties, taking orders, answering questions.
*Restocks counter and candy wall.
*Cleans, organizes and maintains assigned station and all services area.
*Understands and complies with health/sanitation and alcohol standards.
*Communicates all concerns to management including issues with health, sanitation, staff, inventory and guests.
*Cross-serves and/or assists team members as needed.
*Other duties may be assigned.
