Description
We're looking for an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in leading the operations and maintain established cost and quality standards to ensure delivery of service and to maximise the profits cross the Restaurant and Bar.

• Support in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant and Bar
• Maintain budgets and optimise expenses
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
• Live the Various Eateries values of Welcoming, Fun, Collaborative, Ownership, Respect and Passionate

About you:

You have a mixture of branded and independent restaurant/Bar/Hotel experience, with a proven track record managing a high-volume restaurant.

You must have full confidence in the running of the business and have full P&L accountability. You will also have a sharp understanding of business finance in order to maximise sales and exceed target.

Coppa Club is an open, inclusive space which offers something for everyone. Our all-day non-members club overlooks the Maidenhead Waterway directly in the town centre. The open plan space offers a 60-cover restaurant for dining, a large circular bar area for drinking and a snug area for working and winding down. Our menu focuses on thoughtful, unfussy, European food from small plates and snacks to grilled mains, sourdough pizzas and healthy salads.

Outside there’s a glass covered terrace which can be enjoyed all year round. We are open from early morning until late at night, seven days a week. Drop in for a coffee and stay for dinner. No-one outstays their welcome.
