Assistant General Manager - Coppa Club

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced no2, Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager from a high volume restaurant background to join new restaurant opening in Maidenhead.

The newly appointed Assistant Manager will support in orchestrating every aspect of the business to ensure that every guest is welcomed even if they just need a glass of water. Promote a positive attitude and team ethos, including ‘lead by example’, setting the pace and standards.

Additionally the Assistant Manager will find joy in developing your team to ensure they are engaged, stretched to be the best and happy in their work. We are sure that if you are able to achieve these goals with energy and drive you will be the ‘proud owner’ of an exciting Coppa Club restaurant where innovation, loyalty and ownership are the norm.

Assistant Manager Membership Requirements:

• Year’s experience in as an Assistant Manager or General Manager in a fast-paced branded restaurant environment
• A General Manager in the making, previous experience in jumping it the GM’s shoes
• Good knowledge and understand of P&L
• Maximising sales growth by monitoring business performance in line with budget
• Supported in coaching and developing your staff to maximise performance and reduce staff turnover
• Supporting the General Manager in KPI review, agreeing objectives, skills management and personal development, sharing best practice, placements, training and support
• Monitoring reservations and events bookings through online booking systems
• Experience in Performance Management, recruitment, training, disciplinary procedures, payroll
• Knowledge or understanding of Fourth Hospitality and F&B preferred
• Experience using ATS (Applicant tracking system) to advertise and recruit new FOB & BOH Club members.

In 2014 we noticed a huge Coppa Club shaped gap in the market for a laid back place for people to eat, drink & hang out. A place that can be used for whatever you need, whenever you need.

We aimed for a private members club kind of vibe– minus the snobbery, chucked in some outrageously good coffee and cocktails, a Mediterranean inspired all day menu and some fantastically talented people and Coppa Club was born.
