• You’re a hands-on, sleeves up Sous Chef with a passion for preparing and serving outstanding fresh food within a busy, high volume environment.

About the Sous Chef Role

We have an exciting new opening for an experienced Sous Chef / Head Chef to join our Maidenhead Club. Working closely with our Head Chef, General Manager and Chef Director to manage and develop our back of house team.

Our menu focuses on thoughtful, unfussy, European food from small plates and snacks to grilled mains, sourdough pizzas and healthy salads. There’s a wide selection of weekend brunch dishes and the bar serves carefully-chosen wines, beers and classic cocktails as well as new creations.

We are open from breakfast until late at night, seven days a week.

What our Sous Chef brings to the club

• Proven experience working as a Sous Chef / Head Chef within a fast-paced branded kitchen
• Track record of recruiting a strong team & reducing labour turnover
• Coaching and developing your chefs into Head Chefs
• Full knowledge of all hygiene, health and safety practices.
• Experience in consistently achieving GP and report accurate food GP to the General Manager.
• Extensive experience with fresh food from a great high street brand is required.
• Knowledge of system Fourth Hospitality and Procure Wizard (desired)
Monitor, control, order of food stock appropriate to sales levels and keep within budgets set for ordering

In 2014 we noticed a huge Coppa Club shaped gap in the market for a laid back place for people to eat, drink & hang out. A place that can be used for whatever you need, whenever you need.

We aimed for a private members club kind of vibe– minus the snobbery, chucked in some outrageously good coffee and cocktails, a Mediterranean inspired all day menu and some fantastically talented people and Coppa Club was born

Coppa Club is an open, inclusive space which offers something for everyone. Our all-day non-members club overlooks the Maidenhead Waterway directly in the town centre. The open plan space offers a 60-cover restaurant for dining, a large circular bar area for drinking and a snug area for working and winding down.

Outside there’s a glass covered terrace which can be enjoyed all year round.
