Supervisor

We are recruiting enthusiastic Supervisor to join our Team within our Plant Nursery. 

To assist the Departmental Manager in ensuring accurate, timely receiving and setting down of all stock deliveries, including in house Propagation Stock, within the Nursery

Key tasks:

1. To Assist the Departmental Manager with the Goods – In functions within the nursery operation
2. To manage, motivate, lead and develop the Goods – In team
3. To deputise for the Departmental Manager as required.
4. To ensure and exceed service levels provided by the nursery goods in team
5. To report on all KPIs accurately and on time with analysis as required
6. To assist the Department manager in planning resources, stock location and bay management both operationally and tactically.
7. Goods in performance reporting and analysis.
8. Accurate and Immediate reporting of any Discrepancies.
9. Monitor and manage the collection of empty crates for return to suppliers.
10. Regular Stocktakes of C.C. Trolley Inventory.

Skills and Experience:

1.      Stock movement experience in a diverse, fast moving e-commerce environment

2.      Operational planning 1 month time horizon

3.      Manage KPIs for staff performance.

4.      Excellent team leadership and communications

5.      Data analysis – high detail

6.      Proactive self-starter with a clear focus on achievement and operational improvement
