Description

The Shift Leader is responsible for supervising the shift and leading the team to meet guest expectations in providing exceptional service. Shift leader works closely with the team, training and coaching new and existing employees; and supports management with other tasks/projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited)

• Empowers the team to satisfy guests and resolve problems
• Provide great guest service, resolving guest issues while being polite and respectful
• Ensures all orders are completed and packaged accurately and within Brand speed of service standards
• Monitors and adjusts the products in the back case according to Brand merchandising and product appearance standards
• Educates on the Guest Satisfaction Survey program and ensures receipt are issued with each order
• Ensures service with speed are met throughout each shift at Drive Thru and Front Counter
• Ensures the restaurant meets food safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards during shift
• Assists with equipment maintenance and calibration
• Supports the training of new crew members as requested by the Restaurant Manager
• Drives sales through execution of product promotions including sampling and ensuring crew can properly describe and prepare all promotional products
• Manages cash over/short during shift through accurate counting and cashier assignment

Transportation: to work, banking if needed, attend all meetings and training as required

At least 16 years of age
At least 1-2 years of restaurant or retail industry experience or at least 6 month of supervisory experience
Basic math skills and computer skills
