Dave’s Hot Chicken adds an upbeat vibe to the hospitality of a traditional chicken sandwich restaurant.  With simple operations, DHC serves chicken sandwiches and tenders that explode with flavor. The unique branding and décor of DHC restaurants provides a fresh spot for people to gather. DHC is blowing up on the West Coast.  With no doubt of the same strong demand in the Midwest, we need bold leaders to get the DHC movement started. 

Must Haves: 

  • Humblehungry and emotionally smart 

  • Available to work late nights, weekends and holidays 

  • 2 or more years of restaurant management experience  

  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service  

  • Possess time management and organizational skills 

  • Experience training and coaching a team in a hands-on environment 

  • Good communication skills, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills 

  • Ability to build a team of employees with a people first culture 

  • Strong analytical/decision-making skills 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 

  • Ability to develop and implement systems

The Gig: 

  • Assist in training and coaching a team through a people-focused mindset 

  • Effectively assist in managing with an ownership mentality within the policies and guidelines of the company, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times. 

  • Recruits, interviews, and hires team members 

  • Develop a team with thorough training and provide path for growth within the company  

  • Uses coaching to improve employee performance 

  • Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction 

  • Controls day-to-day operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team 

  • Controls profit & loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor 

  • Ensures maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds using a preventative maintenance program 

  • Ensures a safe working environment for customers and the team
