General Manager

Description

Our General Managers are our chief memory-makers and the teams they build make sure our Proper Burgers, Sides & Shakes are served with love - time and time again to our hungry fanbase. As such, our General Managers are resilient, agile and accountable leaders who look to influence, inspire and manage their teams with emotional maturity and commercial awareness.

We are not looking for a Profit & Loss analyst – it’s important to us that you’re commercial and can deliver a profitable restaurant (we’ll give you all the tools you’ll need), but it’s just as important that you’re doing it the right way; through building and nurturing your team to deliver the best results they can whilst kicking out amazing food to happy guests.

You’ll never be just a number to us. There is all the good stuff you’d expect from a solid, established company; pension, holiday, a great bonus structure (quarterly paid, up to 30%), staff socials, 50% off food, development opportunities, alongside the opportunity to have a real impact, real quick.

Our values are important to us. Whether you’re a Kitchen Assistant or People Director, Chef or the CEO, our people all have our values at the heart of everything we do:

·       I Respect (people and customers)

·       I Empower (those around me)

·       I’m Proud (of everything I do)

·       I want to Succeed (with Byron)

Here at Byron, we recognise we’re not all square pegs. We value authenticity and individual differences and we use Insights Discovery Profiling across all of our management positions (from Assistant Manager all the way up to CEO). We do this to ensure we’re speaking a common language, to encourage self-awareness and to give our people some tools to help them build real and impactful relationships.

So, whether it’s the beef in our burgers, our development programmes, our twice-yearly salary reviews, or our clear and achievable targets for bonus, our ethos is the same; We Do Things Properly.

Proper Burgers, Proper People and a Properly Good Time.

We are Byron. Are you?
