Delivery Driver
Description
At District Doughnut, every team member is an important part of our success. Delivery Drivers are an extension of our brand and key representatives of our company. Drivers will be responsible for ensuring safe delivery of our product while engaging customers in a doughfessional manner. This position is salaried.
Reporting to: BOH Manager
Responsible for: Delivery of Product
Main duties and responsibilities
● Training in knowledge of pre-orders, packing process, doughnut quantities in each box
● Communicates well with Supervisor and keeps them up-to-date on any delivery troubles or delays immediately
● Will notify customer if delayed due to unforeseen circumstances immediately and will speak in an apologetic, professional
manner
● Will notify Supervisor when all deliveries are complete
Key Working Relationships
Delivery drivers will work in coordination with the BOH Managers and FOH Team Members to ensure all products are packaged, safely loaded, and clearly organized for accurate delivery.
Hours of Shift
Tuesday through Sunday, at any time from 5:30 AM -- 3:00 PM. Not to exceed 40 hours a week Shifts depend on order demand and will vary each day.
Basic requirements
● 18 years of age or older
● Clean driving record
● Able to pass insurance background check
● Able to lift up to 50 lbs
