FOH Store Manager


Description
In order to establish the best possible sales performance, the Retail Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing customer service duties, staff scheduling, inventory ordering, and store maintenance.


Reporting to: Director of Retail Operations

Responsible for: Retail sales and staff management

Main duties and responsibilities

Store scheduling, two weeks in advance
Taking Inventory using inventory checklist and monitor par levels of each item
Ordering Inventory
Monitor orders, deliveries, and events calendar for both inventory and scheduling purposes
Manage occasional boxed catering orders for special events
Scheduling additional staff members or hours for high volume days within scheduling guidelines (ie. avoiding overtime, scheduling conflicts, etc) and documenting changes
Responsible for maintaining store-front appearance standards including cleaning, seasonal decorations, etc.
Cash Deposit: handling weekly or biweekly cash deposits
Interviewing and hiring staff for own store
Performing store maintenance
Meeting monthly and yearly sales goals. Pushing sales initiatives.
Engaging with the community through regular check-ins like emails, calls and visiting neighboring businesses and events.

Key Working Relationships
Retail Store Managers are supervisors for the retail team. They will work in cooperation with the Director of Retail Operations and maintain communication with Director of Sales and Marketing for special events and large orders.

Hours of Shift
Full-time
Available to work Monday-Sunday during operating hours, with flexibility to work as needed when stores are not open.

Basic requirements
Availability for full-time
Prompt arrival and immediate preparedness for responsibilities
Clear understanding of store operations
Experience with scheduling and money handling
