Description

At District Doughnut, the quality of our doughnuts is what makes us great. As part of the bakery team, you will be assist in creating the best doughnut in the world, by working alongside our owner and Executive Pastry Chef in a fun, creative environment. We rely on the bakery team to execute delicious doughnuts that will delight our customers and keep them coming back for more.


Reporting to: Bakery Manager

Responsible for: Bakery Production

Job & Performance Responsibilities Include:

1. Ability to work well in a busy environment.
2. Must be clean, efficient, organized and detailed oriented.
3. Ensures the accuracy, quality and consistency of the products made
4. Must be able to read and follow recipes in order to measure and mix ingredients to produce our delicious doughnuts.
5. Must have good communication skills - both verbal and written.
6. Ensure operations are in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays and special occasions (according to business demand)
8. Perform other duties and assignments as directed by Management.
9. Candidates with bakery and/or kitchen production experience will be given preference.

The position is perfect for someone is aspires to attend culinary school, or a is recent grad. Pay is based on experience. You would work with a great team who is friendly, supportive and fun. We are definitely willing to train the right individual, however candidates must have a thorough understanding of baking!

Job Expectations

● Must be 18 years or older and able to work in the US.
● Shifts will vary Monday-Sunday between 3am-7pm, Maximum of 40 hours per week.
● Candidates must be able to lift 50# and be able to stand for 6-8 hours.
● Strong attention to detail and great time management skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team - with respect to all management and team members.
● Friendly, outgoing attitude, with eagerness to work in a fun, creative environment.
● Willingness to learn and contribute as a team player.
● Maintain a positive, cooperative relationship with co-workers and management.
