Salary Range depending on experience Minimum £30k

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organise two kitchen’s activities at our restaurant You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment. At DOUGH&co we import some of the finest ingredients from Italy to create our Napolese style wood fired pizzas. We also create in our kitchens restaurant Quality burgers we prepare for our customers ordering from home.

Responsibilities

  • Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff 
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers 
  • Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
  • Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
  • Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer
  • Plan and organise orders of ingredients
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Head chef
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for great standards and employee welfare
