We are looking for a hard working chef who is looking to join our team and grow with our company.

Seeking an individual who can handle large volume and maintain the highest level of quality control exceding the highest standards of the restaurant industry.

We want someone who can be a team leader and foster growth from the bottom up through strong personal skills and an inspiriny work ethic.

The Role:

Help us open up our newest location and learn and grow with our company as a Chef

Responsible to:

Executive Chef & Chef de Cuisine

Main Duties:

This position will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in planning, organizing and leading Kitchen Department according to company policies and NYS standards. Supporting the management team as needed.

Assist in overseeing daily operations of the kitchen, including staff
Acting as the Chef on Duty as needed, making staffing decisions, scheduling changes, disciplining staff, employee relations, resolving guest and members issues
Ensuring proper and smooth food service
Assist with receiving deliveries for stock and inventory
Placing orders as needed
Providing professional leadership and direction to kitchen staff
Ensuring that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet Company standards and commitment to quality
Maintains a safe, orderly and sanitized kitchen
Leads by example, using proper food-handling techniques
Trains and guides staff to Company and NYS sanitation guidelines
Trains staff to Company standards
Actively participates as a member of the management team
Delegates work to staff throughout shift
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager


Required Skills/Qualifications:

A Culinary Degree preferred, but not required.
Must have 3+ years related experience in food & beverage operations with a proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented operation.
Food Serve Safe certification
Knowledge of NYS sanitation regulations
Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented.
Must have supervisory, coaching and staff development experience.
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others
Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift of up to 50 pounds on occasion and 35 pounds regularly
Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
Has the ability to taste all foods to assure correct preparation
