Description
The Role...
A Busser at Dumbo House is responsible for assisting the servers in providing quality service to all guests who come to Soho House. Supporting the management team as needed.
The Venue..
DUMBO House; newly opened and part of the Soho House family. Also, the first Soho House location in Brooklyn, NY. Located on the waterfront in DUMBO, this new location will feature views of the East River and Statue of Liberty, floor to ceiling windows, an outdoor patio, an open kitchen and full bar, and expansive F&B space.
Who you are....
• OPEN AVAILABILITY -
• Desire to grow with a hospitality brand that fosters growth and development
• Setting up tables with the appropriate mis en place (ketchup, salt pepper, HP and sugar bowl).
• Making sure all stations are fully stocked and ready for service – maintain stations fully during service.Support servers, runners and management to ensure tables are cleared and set properly at to company standards.
• Thrive in fast paced environment (1,500 to 2,000 covers per day + plus multi-level roof top)
• Detailing all tables before the start of service to ensure place settings are neat and organized.
• Delivering bread and water to all tables in their assigned section, assisting other section when necessary.
• Setting up candles on the tables.
• Setting up tables with the appropriate items in there place (ketchup, salt pepper, HP and sugar bowl).
• Making sure all stations are fully stocked and ready for service – maintain stations fully during service.
