Espresso Cielo is a Santa Monica based specialty coffee bar for people who love really good coffee. We serve 49th Parallel coffee from Vancouver. We are very serious about coffee; we love our customers, we care about our community and each other.

We are looking for passionate baristas who want to continue perfecting their skills and their art.

If you are creative, inquisitive, love coffee, and you possess
• An enthusiasm for the culture of coffee and want to grow the culture
• Latte Art skills
• Love working as a team
• Love for working in an place where we love to make people smile when they taste their coffee.
• Have a valid and current ServSafe Food Handler's Card or Management Certificate, and you follow food-safe practices.

 If you don't have a current card or certificate, you must obtain one within the first week of work

Being a great barista requires you to be a positive and effective communicator to both guests and your coworkers, to be on your feet, lift boxes and bags, move quickly, have a sense of urgency, think ahead and be alert to customer needs
• Pitch in, help out, keep busy, participate, engage, think, feel and be in the moment
• You must also be capable of working with equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, ice machines, coffee brewers, hot water towers, as well as cold brew methods, tea brewing
• Maintain our beautiful cafe, ensuring its cleanliness - sweep and mop floors as needed, maintain restrooms, clean doors, windows, display cases and counters as you go through the day
•
