Job Description: Event Manager
Education: College education preferred
POSITION SUMMARY
The Event Manager will be responsible for leading and developing event strategies for our restaurant from conception through completion. Responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for marketing and advertising our restaurant through innovative and imaginative outreach
• Research markets to identify opportunities for events
• Arrange Site Visits
• Establish relationships with guests and potential guests to promote repeat business
• Responsible for pricing, planning, coordinating and supervising the execution of all restaurant events
• Maintain and develop BEO’s, monthly event statements, and completed events
• Assure events run smoothly, efficiently and profitably, overseeing operations of events to completion
• Prepare and complete billing for the customer and collect final payment
• Communicate with clients before, during and after events; follows up
• Participates in the organization of in-house promotional events
• Regularly communicates with the team event arrangements
• Trains and supervises staff events staff on Estiatorio Milos Standards
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
• Preferred 3-5 years’ experience in hospitality event coordination and planning
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong influence, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and creative solution generation skills
• Planning and problem-solving skills
• General computer skills (word, excel)
