POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for personable and energetic Bartenders that have a love of bartending and skill set to match. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• To promote the brand in a positive manner and maintain the company's high standard.
• To take full responsibility for the bar opening and closing procedures at all time and to ensure a well-stocked bar according to established par levels.
• Communicate with customers using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
• Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy restaurant activity, serving as a role model for the bar team and other employees. Interact with other department personnel and restaurant staff as needed.
• Responsible for bank and daily small cash change
• Takes beverage orders from guests and servers
• Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with our standardized drink recipes
• Learn names and personally recognize regulars

QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Ensure all delivered items are approved and prices are checked.
• Minimize stock leakage.
• Manage all credit items.
• Return corked wines and ensure invoices are adjusted accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and city laws surrounding the sale and consumption of alcohol.
• Maintain strict controls that deter theft of customers and staff and the sale of alcohol to minors.
• Ensure all health and safety requirements are in continuous compliance, including, fridge temperature checks.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned thoroughly and all stock is organized and clean.
• Determine the needs and preferences of our guests and ensure that these are fulfilled.
• Ensure that no actions, on the part of either a customer or staff member, in any way jeopardizes the restaurant's liquor license.
• Maintain positive and professional relations with guests, VIPs, concierges and regulars.
• Ensure all administrative responsibilities of the bar are completed efficiently and effectively on a daily basis.
