Assistant General Manager — Famous Three Kings (West Kensington)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Why this role is brilliant
Join the leadership team at Famous Three Kings—part of the Rose Pubs Group and one of London’s most iconic, high-energy sports pubs. This is a high-profile, highly visible role where you’ll shape the guest experience, lead a large team, and accelerate your hospitality career, with a clear and structured pathway to General Manager within our growing group.

What you’ll love about working with us

  • Fast-paced, rewarding environment: Run shifts in a venue famed for its unmatched atmosphere during the Premier League, NFL, boxing, and other major events.
  • A supportive culture: Enjoy regular team socials, a dedicated training budget, and a management team that genuinely backs you.
  • Real impact: Have your voice heard in a growing pub group where your commercial ideas and leadership make a tangible difference.

The role — what you’ll do

  • Lead shifts and take full operational ownership when the GM isn’t present.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop a large, diverse team; set the tone on the floor and model exceptional service.
  • Drive commercial performance: focus on sales growth, upselling, labour optimisation, and cost control.
  • Own the guest experience and recovery—resolving feedback with empathy and speed.
  • Manage rotas, staff productivity, and recruitment; deliver effective onboarding and ongoing training.
  • Maintain stock control, cash handling, and strict adherence to safety, licensing, and brand standards.
  • Help plan events and sport-focused promotions to boost footfall and revenue.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven management experience in a high-volume pub, bar, or hospitality venue.
  • A confident, visible leader who leads from the front and earns team respect.
  • Commercially minded: comfortable with P&L basics, including sales drivers, labour, and cost control.
  • Calm under pressure with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, events, and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Benefits — why join us

  • Competitive pay plus performance-related bonus opportunities.
  • Clear progression: A structured development path, training budget, and real opportunities to step up to General Manager.
  • Apprenticeships & Training: We actively support apprenticeships. Gain recognised qualifications while working to fast-track your progression, with paid learning time to build practical skills.
  • Industry discounts via the CODE app (hospitality, fitness & more) and free guestlist for selected events/festivals.
  • Staff food on shift and regular team socials to boost morale and team bonding.
  • Flexible shifts tailored to match days and events (evenings & weekends).
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • 24/7 wellbeing support through Able Futures.

Nice to have

  • Experience with busy sports/event-led venues.
  • Familiarity with EPOS/POS systems and basic sales/reporting (training provided).
  • Formal hospitality qualifications, First Aid, or Level 2 Food Safety certification.
