Description

D&D London is a diverse and vibrant collection of 43 restaurants (including one with a Michelin Star) and an award–winning hotel situated in London and beyond. Founded by Des Gunewardena and David Loewi (the D and D in the name) in 2006, the company has rapidly expanded and contains some of London’s most iconic restaurants, such as Bluebird, Le Pont de la Tour, Sartoria, German Gymnasium and 14 Hills. Outside London the company has made their mark by opening Crafthouse, Angelica, Issho and East 59th in Leeds, 20 Stories in Manchester and Klosterhaus in Bristol.


We are looking for an enthusiastic Systems Accountant to join the team who can quickly learn the processes and systems across the business and how everything flows through to the final reporting. The candidate will be approachable and willing to help, and will deal with people at all levels in the business, they will also be willing to grow and evolve as the business does.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Go to person for systems and reporting across Head Office
  • Support the Year End and Audit process, providing information requested
  • Build and tailor reports to fulfil the business needs
  • Perform Month End reporting checks – journal periods & transaction codes, unbalanced journals, revenue rounding differences 
  • Daily Revenue import checks – liaise with relevant third parties to resolve any issues
  • Review Inter-company transactions
  • Understanding how actions taken at sites flow through to reporting and the impact it has
  • Review cash books and bank statements
  • Food & Beverage system data uploads
  • Manage the Budget/Forecast upload process into SAP
  • Upload monthly accounts for US and France
  • Set up accounts and reporting for new sites
  • Update and manage chart of accounts & mapping for accounts and cost centres
  • Assist the US business with standardising the chart of accounts
  • Support with producing process documentation of
  • Ad hoc reporting requirements across the business
  • Key member of the team for coordinating the implementation of a new Adaco system 
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing SAP testing & upgrade

Key Requirements:

  • Advanced VBA & SQL knowledge
  • Report building knowledge
  • Data reconciliation & manipulation
  • Process improvement
  • Facilitating systems and business change
  • Hospitality experience beneficial but not essential
