Description
FOOD and BOUNTY is currently searching for an all-around KITCHEN STAFF person for our Hollywood restaurant located on a Production Studio Lot. This is a full time position Monday thru Friday (closed on weekends.)
Must have experience and be versatile in the following BOH positions:
-Food Prep
-Line Cook
-Salad Bar
-Sandwich Station
-Pastries
OUR MISSION:
Food and Bounty is a fast paced restaurant and catering company focusing on REAL FOOD. REAL FRESH. We embrace loyalty, kindness, gratitude, excellence, dedication and community.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES:
-Prep and execute all menu items-- including those for seasonal and special menus for dine-in, take away and catering. Ideal candidate is able to work proficiently in all BOH positions including Line Cook, Salad Bar, Sandwich Station, and Pastries.
-Maintain a professional and positive attitude with focus on legendary customer service.
-Use proper tools that are available to ensure adherence to recipes such as measuring cups, job aids, and various kitchen equipment.
-Follow and complete all food handling procedures.
-Keep all areas of the kitchen/restaurant cleaned and organized by following cleaning checklist, assist with cleaning tasks, equipment cleaning, trash removal, and detailed cleaning as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Have or will obtain a current CA Food Handlers certificate
-Previous experience in restaurant and/or catering environments with various food stations
-Strong knife skills and culinary techniques
-Teamwork and attention to detail are a must
-Be organized, punctual and have a sense of urgency
-Critical thinking skills, Quick on your feet, and Eager to learn
-Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
