CAVA is a fast-growing culinary brand with a portfolio of fast casual restaurants and a packaged goods line dedicated to fresh, Mediterranean inspired, better-for-you cuisine. Born from a full service restaurant collaboration between three first-generation Greek American childhood friends in the Washington, D.C. area, our chef-driven fast casual format has currently more than 60+ restaurants with further expansion ahead.  

We are currently seeking a talented Logistics Manager to serve as an important link in the end to end supply chain logistics and distribution processes. This position leads strategy and execution of the distribution framework. The Logistics Manager is expected to be an excellent cross-functional collaborator, with strong influencing skill and able to empower and develop his/her team and the logistics function.

You will:
• Develop and provide strategic oversight and process methodologies to logistics, freight, distribution, and technology teams throughout the Supply Chain infrastructure.
• Own development & execution of supply distribution and logistics fulfillment strategies to achieve the approved plans in the optimal way, balancing cost, service, and P&L objectives.
• Enable structure, rhythms, and processes to comprehensively manage operational activities and critical dependencies required to ensure attainment of supply commitments & achievement of targets.
• Develop national implementation of distribution best practices, such as systems integration and optimization, inventory control and demand planning.
• Implement systems that will encourage visibility to key Logistics KPI's.
• Support operations leadership team in daily operations management of service level agreements, including on-time delivery, full rate, order accuracy, dark drops, and temperature control.
• Troubleshoot problems through to resolution, escalating as necessary.
• Develop, review, and update logistics and distribution SOPs as required.
• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
• Manage and support Material Resource Planning and Back of the House systems.

You have:
• 6+ years proven work experience in the field of logistics, distribution, warehouse management, or related field.
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Planning (tools, processes, and systems)
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field; preferred
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrating experience reducing cost or improving efficiency in previous jobs
