Looking for an experienced, dynamic and all around bad ass Executive Chef to run our cafe, courtyard, event space, restaurant and high volume lounge. The venue is open 18 hours a day and has a staff of over 120.
Compensation is market based on experience + healthcare, 401k with match, and bonus based on performance.
Traits should include the following:
- Massive Empathy for others
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Preferred Experience in Hotels
- Ability to run line, expedite, and lead a team
- Menu crafting, costing, and execution
- Ability to drive lower cost of sales by executing ordering, receiving and inventory systems
- Experience with hiring, firing, and training kitchen personel
- Experience with back office systems such as NCR Back office, MS Excel, MS Word, Open Table, Avero, Slack, Dropbox etc.
- Time management
