The Restaurant

Le Comptoir Robuchon is the new restaurant from one of the world’s most foremost names in hospitality, Robuchon. Robuchon is the legacy of one of France’s greatest chef, Joël Robuchon. Joël Robuchon revolutionised gastronomy through his unique philosophy towards cuisine and service, winning a record 32 Michelin Stars in the process.

Le Comptoir is the next chapter in the Robuchon story. With a menu designed for sharing, it will serve some of the iconic dishes created by Joël Robuchon himself, as well as seasonal plates that celebrate the very best produce and provenance.


The Role

As Commis Waiter, you will play an integral part in the restaurant’s operation. You will support the Head Waiters in maintaining the sections and you will be a key link between the Kitchen and Front of House teams. To join our fun but professional team, we are looking for people who are passionate about delivering excellence, with a good eye for detail and an ability to work quickly and competently under pressure. In return, you will be the given the opportunity to learn, grow and develop your knowledge of food, service and operations.


Role Responsibilities

- Supporting the Head Waiters in maintaining the sections
- Running food from the hot pass and cold pass
- Managing and restocking the service elements of the hot pass and cold pass
- Supporting the Bar and Sommelier teams with stock management
- Overseeing pre-service preparations: station replenishment, mise en place, table set-up
- Developing menu knowledge
