Description
The Front Office department is looking for a passionate and bubbly Receptionist to provide guests with outstanding service in this stunning hotel. This position has excellent progression opportunities and would be suited to someone with an enthusiastic personality and someone who is proud to work in a luxury environment.

The Chesterfield Hotel, the Red Carnation Hotel Collection’s first property bought in 1984, is based in the heart of exclusive Mayfair. This classic four star boutique hotel consists of 107 bedrooms as well as 7 Meeting Rooms, Butler’s Restaurant, The Terrace Bar, and our Conservatory where we offer our guests a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and exquisite food and drink.

Key responsibilities of the Receptionist will include:

• Checking guests in and out in accordance with the law and hotel standards
• Compiling guests accounts and fulfilling administrative duties
• Handling reservation enquiries
• Communicating information efficiently to relative parties
• Reconciling banking at the end of each shift
• Ensuring that the reception area is clean and tidy at all times

The ideal candidate for the Receptionist position should:

• Command a strong level of written and spoken English
• Display a polite and professional attitude at all times
• Be an excellent team player
• Be enthusiastic in delivering excellent customer service
• Be passionate and willing to learn
• Be flexible to work early, middle, late and on shifts, five days out of seven. Early shifts are from 7am - 3.30pm and late shifts from 1.30pm – 10.00pm
