We are currently looking for a Reception Manager to join our team at the Summer Lodge Country House Hotel.

The Summer Lodge Country House is set within the enchanting village of Hardy’s Evershot and surrounded by rolling hills, this five star country house hotel epitomises the ultimate in traditional style. Key Responsibilities for the Reception Manager include:
• Setting and maintaining the quality standards for all Reception areas and ensure these are communicated and understood through training, SOP manuals, etc.
• Achieving a minimum 90% of mystery shopper reports with your team
• Constantly monitoring upselling figures and ensure that this is reported on and communicated with your team on a weekly basis
• Monitoring guest satisfaction in terms of both product and service
• Ensuring high visibility within all areas of Front Office and evaluate the quality of service and guest interaction.
• Ensuring regular guest contact in order to evaluate guest satisfaction and then communicate relevant points with other HODs
• Constantly monitoring the day-to-day operation of all Reception areas, with an emphasis on providing a highly personalised and attentive service
• To monitor social media channels and ensure the team responds to enquiries to comply with company standards

The ideal candidate for the Reception Manager role should:
• Have previous Front Office experience at a Supervisory or Managerial level
• Be proactive, enthusiastic and with excellent interpersonal skills
• Be an excellent team player
• Have a friendly, bubbly and flexible attitude
• Communicate effectively in English
