Position Overview

The Food & Beverage Server provides food and beverage service throughout the venue. This role requires a flexible schedule, including work on nights and weekends.

Essential Functions

• Interact with guests with an upbeat and positive attitude.
• Serve food and beverages with recommendations and upselling.
• Maintain a clean section
• Prepare customer checks and collect payments in accordance with company policy.
• Assist with other restaurant tasks, such as pre-bussing, drink running and spot sweeping.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• 3+ years experienced in food & beverage service
• Up-to-date health and alcohol cards
• Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems

In addition, the ideal candidate will be or have:

• Previous experience in an upscale bar, country club, or restaurant
• Previous experience in banquet service

Physical Demands

Ability to perform moderate physical work, may be required to lift up to 20 lbs. constantly, performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, and grasping for up to five hours without sitting
