Job Title: Shipping and Inventory Manager
Locations: G&B/GGET Main office
Classification: Direct-hire, Salary, FLSA-Exempt
Reports to: VP of Ecommerce


What's the opportunity?

We are looking for a qualified candidate, experienced in warehouse, inventory, and logistics, to provide direction, organization, and leadership to our warehouse team and to help us expand; We want to grow in size and volume. We currently have internal direct-to-store fulfillment, eCommerce, and wholesale operations. 


With your leadership and expertise, we will build this department of the company from the ground up, literally. Your input will be instrumental as we undergo a large construction buildout project overhauling our warehouse space, and expanding in volume. You will create organized and scalable systems that are aligned with the company vision, goals, and growth outlook. If you have ever dreamt of setting up a sleek omni-channel coffee shop fulfillment operation and then ramping it up - this is the position for you. 


What will I do?


Project Execution

  • Advocate for processes and systems that will improve efficiency

  • Implement organized systems to manage the flow of product from outside vendors through store & ECommerce fulfillment

  • Provide realistic assessment of project needs and timelines

  • Manage up. Serve as a well-rounded source of knowledge and assistance when it comes to executing projects

  • Work with Design & Build team to ensure our warehouse buildout aligns with company goals, vision, and the realistic needs of your department and our customers

  • Manage inventory & fulfillment for multiple growing business channels, and work with stakeholders to support growth of new channels

  • Draw from your experiences to solve problems


Retail and Vendor Management

  • Handle order fulfillment for both ecommerce and retail stores

  • Ramp up order volume as company grows 

  • Ensure that orders are fulfilled in a consistent, timely, and standardized manner

  • Maintain vendor relationships and establish new vendor relationships as needed

  • Constantly seek to re-evaluate vendor relationships for potential improvement


Asset and Team Management

  • Handle all asset management and inventory

  • Manage the general well-being of the warehouse

  • Organize the warehouse space for more efficient work

  • Lead, mentor, engage, schedule,organize and grow a team of warehouse workers and delivery drivers

  • Analyze delivery and inventory issues and provide solutions.

Additional Prerequisites

  • Experience with Ship Station, Shopify, and/or any other top alternative shipping softwares. 

  • Previous work with ERP systems, inventory tracking software, and/or Restaurant 365. 

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Forklift certification preferred but not required


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move about the warehouse area for over 4 hours per day occasionally

  • Ability to lift or move up to 60lbs.

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as a forklift and pallet jack.

  • Exposure to a warehouse/production environment with moderate noise levels.

  • Frequent work at a computer.
