At Go Get Em Tiger (GGET) and G&B Coffee, we are a collection of baristas, roasters, chefs, bakers, general managers, product developers, quality control experts, storytellers and more who have dedicated ourselves to creating innovative and memorable coffee experiences. Founded in 2012 by Kyle Glanville and Charles Babinski, we have deep roots in the specialty coffee industry and in our founding city of Los Angeles. About this job:

Our Cafe Team is the front line of customer service and fulfillment in our retail locations. In this role, you will serve up drinks and experiences that brighten people’s day. You will brew delicious coffee (roasted by us, here in LA County!), you’ll serve our customers tasty bevvies and food, bus tables, run food, and wash dishes. The duties are diverse, but the job boils down to being engaging, knowledgeable, and kind. Performing excellent service in our coffeebars feels like hosting a great dinner party. It’s hard work, but it’s fulfilling. And if that sounds like fun to you, you’ll probably like working here.

What will I do?

You will…

-Be kind, engaging, and knowledgeable about our offerings and about coffee generally
-Be positive and honest
-Display excellent hospitality to all customers and coworkers
-Hustle, as a matter of principle
-Make and serve delicious coffee and drinks
-Maintain a sparkling clean cafe environment
-Display confidence and competence in many aspects of daily coffeebar operations, including but not limited to customer service, drink preparation, food service, dishwashing, and cleaning
-Handle cash transactions, ensuring accurate keeping of your till
-Assist in inventory and ordering of goods internally
-Stay up-to-date with all menu offerings

Am I qualified?

Yes, if…

-You share our passion for coffee, food, and hospitality
-You want to a part of a team that works hard and wants to do things the right way
-You have experience in a high-volume and/or quality-driven food service environment or a genuine interest and excitement in gaining that experience with us
-You can do basic math
-You have availability for weekends and overall schedule flexibility
-You have a CA Food Handler’s Certification or the willingness to attain one within 30 days of hire
