GERBER GROUP is seeking an Office Manager to join the team!
Hospitality industry leader, Gerber Group, encompasses iconic venues under such brands as Whiskey Blue, Irvington, Kingside, The Roof, Mr. Purple, The Campbell Bar, and Taco Electrico.

Responsibilities...

• Accounting

Execute accounting procedures in coordination with the corporate office which involves:

- Balancing/reconciling reports
- Generating necessary daily, weekly, and monthly reporting such as sales reports
- Handling cash outs and change orders
- Invoice processing
- Sales and deposits processing
- Taking full ownership of accounts payable
- Managing the safe and bank balance


• Operations
Assist with payroll processing weekly
Communicate with Accounting/HR as need for payroll questions, time off, policy and procedures, etc.
Assist with inventory tracking and ordering
Attend manager/staff meetings and record notes/meeting minutes
Assist with projects as assigned
Analyze and suggest more cost effective and efficient procedures the property can implement


• Office Administration
Answer phones and direct calls accordingly
Act as liaison between staff, management, and vendors for any inquiries
Order office supplies as needed
Data entry as needed
Handle filing, mailing, vendor communications, and staff communications
Coordinate meetings/candidate interviews as needed
Perform other office admin duties as assigned

Who we are looking for…
The ideal candidate is a hardworking and organized individual who thinks creatively. Must communicate effectively in all mediums and at a quick pace. He or she should enjoy solving problems in a high pressure environment. Organization and time management skills are vital. A background in hospitality and experience with POS systems are a plus.

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of progressive office administration/management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computer functions in general
• Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) Systems preferred
