Bartender

Gold Room BK is the newest wine and cocktail lounge serving the finest in American comfort food. A wide array of wines and spirits and carefully prepared dishes catering to different palettes makes this establishment a new staple in the Prospect Lefferts Garden neighborhood of Brooklyn.

We are currently looking for Bartenders to join our team! The ideal candidate has exceptional customer service skills, is passionate about bartending, and is looking for an opportunity with a growing company.

Education & Experience:
• Must have one year of experience in full service high volume bar or equivalent.
• Hospitality experience in a restaurant or lounge.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• As a bartender, you are on the front lines dealing with guests. It is absolutely crucial that you are cordial, warm and friendly and make everyone feel welcome and taken care of
• You also interact with the FOH, BOH and management staff. To ensure proper service, it is crucial that you are respectful, receptive and resourceful to inquires regarding ingredients, recipes, timing and quality.
• Foster relationships and make it a point to remember repeat visitors and regulars.
• Have an exceptional level of knowledge regarding all menus, both food and beverage. You should also know everything you can about Gold Room BK.
• Create an exceptional environment at the bar. Make eye contact with our guests and be attentive to their needs at all times.
• Maintain the quality and consistency of all beverages served.
• Ensure that all drinks are fresh and all perishables behind the bar are tasted regularly.
• Complete all side work at the beginning and end of each shift and make sure your workstation is fully stocked with all necessary items before each shift.
• Prepare ingredients needed for recipes of mixed beverages.
• Prepare beverages according to prescribed recipes including alcohol content.
• Use proper method according to standing operating procedure to ensure exact alcohol pour measures.
