Sous Chef - Harry’s Bar
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at Harry’s Bar, an exclusive private members’ club, part of The Birley Clubs.
Harry’s Bar is a private members’ restaurant and bar with an air of classic Italian elegance, famed for both the beauty of its décor and the quality of is food. The Northern Italian menu has delighted members for 30 years, its impeccably sourced ingredients – from Alba truffles to beautifully cured Prosciutto di Parma – matched only by the care and skill given to their preparation.

As Sous Chef you will:
· Assist the Executive Head Chef and management team in the day to day operations of the kitchen
· Play a key role in supervising and developing the brigade
· Be expected to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and delivery
· Effectively communicate across all sections of the kitchen
· Assist the Executive Head Chef in ensuring targets are met in relation to food costs
· Have a responsibility for ensuring the brigade complies with all health & safety and food safety policies and procedures
We are ideally looking for candidates who:
· Currently are Sous Chefs, or highly experienced Junior Sous looking for their next promotion
· Have worked in high quality restaurants, experience within private members’ clubs an advantage
· Be passionate about delivering high quality dishes using the finest ingredients
· Are able to effectively manage, motivate and lead a team
· Are strong communicators and enjoy being part of a large team
