Head Chef

Description
Work somewhere awesome:

Careers with Hawksmoor Group are among the best – generous pay and benefits, award-winning restaurants, unrivalled career opportunities and some of the happiest people in the business (as voted by the people who work here).

A short walk from Waverley station, Princes Street and just off St. Andrew Square, Hawksmoor Edinburgh is located in the beautiful former National Bank of Scotland Banking Hall, a Grade A listed “building of national importance”. The 185-cover restaurant has been sensitively refurbished to celebrate the building’s original features. In Edinburgh, Hawksmoor draws on the amazing produce that Scotland has to offer, featuring seafood from around the Scottish coast and beef from grass-fed native breed cattle from both sides of the boarder.

Work hard and be nice to people:

We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our awesome team in Edinburgh. To be considered, you’ll have a few year’s experience as a Head Chef, cooking in a kitchen that cares about the food it sends out. You’ll be comfortable taking responsibility for leading, developing and inspiring your kitchen team, and for all of the processes in your kitchen including stock, operations and GP.
When you join you will have access to a generous package of benefits, including:

• Support you with the tools and training you need to be the best you can be
• All of the service charge goes to the people who work in our restaurants, including everyone who works in the kitchen.
• 50% off food in our restaurants for two people (four if you want to bring your family)
• An optional paid day each year to use for volunteering
• Christmas & Boxing day off
• No staff uniform, Chef whites provided
• 28 days’ holiday that include service charge
• Exclusive savings on travel, shopping, restaurants, health and fitness benefits and more.
• Full time contracts of 48 hours a week
