Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Prepare and serve meals as instructed in a timely enough manner so as to meet our customer satisfaction standards
• Rotate from various cafeteria stations to perform different meal preparation tasks
• Work in conjunction with other line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that food is rotated on schedule from freezers and walk-ins
to prep areas, and then on to the line for cooking
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment at all times by observing kitchen rules
• Familiarize yourself with proper food handling regulations as well as contamination controls
• Cashier responsibilities include sales entry, payment processing, and ensuring drawer accuracy
• Assisting in other duties, as assigned by manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Able to meet physical kitchen demands as well as standing on your feet for extended period
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
• Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting, or in a team-oriented environment
